Terrible instructor. Does not seem to care about his students at all and treats them lower than him. He seems to not understand what having an emergency is and will make you feel stupid because of it.

Personally I think he is a PRICK. He doesn't seem to be much help to a student when they ask for help and when you do ask, he seems to take it personal and get pissed off. One day he got really smart with me and it took a lot for me not to whoop his ass. He knows his stuff but to me personally, not a good instructor for students.

He has the most amazing ability to make you feel stupid when what he really needs to do is just answer your question so you can learn. He's probably the biggest jerk ever. He will not give you quality assessment of the papers you write. He lets his liberal viewpoints interfere with his grading. He thinks he's "all that and a bag of chips" since he's the "Dept head and chair". Believe me--he'll let you know he is the first day.

He's a decent looking guy, but I do have to admit, he has lost a lot of weight. He could hang glide on a dorito for christ's sake, but he is an alrightprofessor. And he WILL front you out if you fall asleep in class. Sometimes you can't help falling asleep.

As a last resort, he is an alright teacher, but if you can get Dr. Carlie, take him. Kunkel is way too in depth and very sarcastic. If you fall asleep in his class, he will front you out in front of all 80 students. He is hard!!!
