IT ALL COMES DOWN TO THE FINAL. BASICALLY THERE IS ONLY ONE TEST (FINAL) AND A PROJECT. THE ASSIGNMENTS ARE MINORS POINTS... THE PROJECT YOU SHOULD STICK TO A SMART GROUP AND THE FINAL IS SOOO HARD THE CLASS WAS BLANK AND IM SURE MORE THAN HALF FAILED SO EVERYONE GOT A C. HE NEVER LECTURED SO WE DIDNT KNOW THE MATERIAL

Class lectures were boring....group lab work was easy and hw requires time to do completely and get good grade. He grades hard! Mid term and final are difficult. Study & read the book. He does not provide after class help to students. He should retire.

Even though I only took his 101 class I found it to be a bit more challenging than expected. It was challenging mainly due to the fact that there is a lot of HW through the lab and the tests are very long. Besides the hw and the test though its your average class and the professor is pretty good his lectures consist of mainly power-points.

awesome teacher. Took him for 3 classes since I entered CSUSB. Fun guy, makes class funable. Take him! The hardest one was possibly IST 474 since there was loads of coding. I would have taken him in all of my computer classes...

one midterm one final.each is 85 multiple and T/F Q. it's really hard seem he has many paper in the exam. two or three people beside you get different paper with you!! LAB is fair good but lecture exam occupy 45%, i afraid i even couldn't get B…… Lecture is so boring and useless, textbook is important!!!

I got F from his class. I couldn't believe I wanted to make sure if it's true or not. But he didn't even check my scores and told me to come to his office hour after the break. I was so worried about my grade during the break. Finally I knew my score wasnt F. I wanted him to check my score earlier at least...F grade made me feel so bad..........

Cool guy. This class will help you succeed in your upper division classes. However, if you are lazy, you may find it hard to do well in class. You have to read the text. The class is not hard but it depends on your work ethic. Prof. Stewart is cool.

Professor Stewart is an awsome teacher. If I can I would take him for all my info classes. You can really tell he cares about his students. The only thing I dont care about is he gives you a study guide with 25 questions and for his test he picks 3 out of the 25 questions you pick two and you have to answer them in a short answer. This guy loves the program ACCESS and every project requires it. And he loves to repeat himself. If you ask a qustion he will either not answer it because class is about to be over or he wil get back to you. Getting back information through email will not happen. Not the best teacher in the world

Great for an intro course. Tests cover both book and lecture. Class time builds on book topcs. 2 exams hard but fair. Lot of little assignments and online quizzes. Instructor is good in class and very helpful with problems.

The work isn't hard, but he gives at least 1 assignment every week. He's the most anal professor I've ever had. (Requires 2 forms of ID to take tests & checks both!)The assignments are the only cushion you have to get by, which isn't much. About 70% of your grade is determined by the midterm & final. He's the only professor who teaches this class.
