He is a good teacher. I'm an exchange student and not native English speaker. So it was tough to read too many materials and write essay. But he understood my situation and so helpful.

Professor Rambo is a great person with a good sense of humor. PowerPoint presentstions and lectures sometimes get off topic. There's 2 exams and the final and those mostly cover the assigned reading so don't worry about lectures. The study guides are mostly accurate but he'll put in some random questions to make sure you're reading.

He's a nice guy and the class is really easy if you read all of the readings and stay on top of things. The worst thing about this class is how BORING it is. Like another reviewer says, Rambo rambles on and on and on...

Rambles on and on. If you read all the readings you'll get an A, attending class is pointless.

Very easily sidetracked. Tends to assign vague homework and states that he isn't sure what he's looking for, but is willing to see what people come up with. Always seems to be in a good mood and he is very knowledgable about the subject material.

I took his Peoples Of The World class and made a high B. Professor Rambo is the best teacher. Extremely helpful if you don't understand something. I recommend him to everyone.

My favorite teacher at OU. I learned more in his ethnography class and economic anthr. class than most others combined. He is funny and easy going, yet serious about learning and taking class serious. I saw him go off on a student cause they were reading the newspaper while another student was talking about their research paper, so pay attention

He is a pretty easy professor, and the lectures are entertaining. I only went to like 3 though, and still made an A in the class. Just do the 5 papers good and do ALL of the reading and you can make an A without ever really going to class. The tests are a mix of MC, matching, and essays, but are not very hard. Nice guy too.

Great class, he tends to ramble on, but keeps the lectures interesting. Couldn't help but stare at him most of the time.

I took Dr. Rambo for People of the World and People of the Pacific Rim. He always had interesting stories--especially about doing drugs with the natives. He made what could have been a very dry subject quite interesting.

Took him for Peoples of the World. The subject matter was dull as anything, and it was at 8:30am, but I managed to stay awake and always looked forward to class.
