NOT AN EASY CLASS! When I took Intro to Computer & Applications, I knew absolutely nothing about computers. My T.A., Andrew Timmes was extremely helpful; if not for him, I would have failed. Class material, homework,projects were very difficult and time consuming. The final was impossible - I failed it. With all my hard work, I only earned a "B".

easy class...i never went to class...and rarely to recitation.....first exam was easy, which was all true basic....second was no basic and all information and excel....and the third was all basic and on databases...homework every week that can be hard, but if you hand it in you will get full credit...so many extra credit opportunities...overall ok.

ok, honestly, the people on here are ridiculous. this class is by far the easiest class i have taken at rutgers. I knew NOTHING about computers and got an A. Prof Goelz is so happy and energetic and will help you if you need it. But trust me all you have to do is go to recitation and you'll be fine. SO EASY

Hardest class I've taken at Rutgers. It's NOT about computers and how to use them. It's 70% TRUE BASIC programming queries, logic and formulas. My lecturer was Jt(boring and smug) I had a TA who, although he was a lovely person, not a great teacher and there was a HUGE language barrier. WEekly assignments and you're forced to use ancient MAC apps.

She is one of the better CS110 teachers. If you go to class she will help you learn the material if you are struggling and put forth some type of effort. Also the problems she goes over in class are just like the ones on the exams. I knew nothing about computers when i took this class. All i did was attend class and read the JT book and i got an A.

Easy class, BAD PROFESSOR Luckily the TA is mainly in charge of grading and such. Repeats a bunch of crap in her lectures, but you don't have to go. You focus on practice problems then you would need definitions for the midterm/final! My grade was almost an F because her and my TA screwed up when I got a B. Find another if you can.

Doesn't give a sh!t about you. If you e-mail her, she'll respond with cryptic 3 word answers. If you take a makeup exam, she'll put you in a room next to her office by yourself, leave you there for 2 hours and LEAVE the building and not tell you where she is. I ended up having to slip my exam underneath her office door after waiting for an hour.

Easiest teacher ever. No need for the textbook other than JT. basically common sense if you dont get a B or above in this class you shouldn't even be in college. Don't complain about the weekly homework assignments because if you look into the JT book there are examples that are exactly what the homework asks for.

This lady is the spawn of satan. She gives horrible unorganized notes, she rants about nothing in lecture, cares nothing about her students, shes lazy, and she'll use any excuse to give you a zero on your exam. I think this lady is half retarded.... but it is an easy course. I recommend taking a different professor.

Easiest class I've taken at RU so far. In class it seems as though she's not the brightest teacher but if you talk to her one on one you'll understand that she knows what she's talkin about. Programming can be tricky but easy with a little bit of practice. Tests are extremely easy. Just do all homework and youll get an A.

Intro to comp apps... what a joke. First of all the class is really easy, just d othe homework and you'll get at least a B. Goelz. She is dumb. She knows her stuff but for a comp-apps teacher she really doesn't have her stuff together. Can never get the projector to work with her MAC tha she insists insn't the problem :rolleyes:

The class I found very easy. Anyone with working knowledge of computers will pass without difficulty. If computers aren't your thing, take this course with another professor, because Goelz and her team of wonder TAs aren't very helpful.
