I heard that this class was going to be really hard, but it's really not that bad. There is a lot of work, but it's pretty easy. Just a lot of it. Go to her office hours. She'll let you know exactly what to do for a project. And if you go to her office hours and ask, she'll let you redo for full points. Tutoring is stressful, but overall: fine.

She has a bad rep. I hated her in the beginning. Loved her by the end. It is a ton of work. Plan to be in her office once a week. She is crazy. Can come off mean, but really wants everyone to succeed. Very understanding with personal situations. TON OF WORK. Project after project. Clear instructions easy grader if done her way. At the beginning of the semester, I did not at all like Dr. Magiera. She was disrespectful to me and very condescending. She told me my grade would be fine after seeing her in office hours and I ended up redoing the project 3 times after that. A LOT OF WORK. A LOT. Beware. At the end of the semester I liked her much better. She was less scary.

Dr. Magiera was one of two teachers I've had here at SUNY Fredonia. I'm a senior now and she is in the top two of worse teachers I've EVER had. She is disrespectful towards her students, and has no time to listen to others opinions. Don't correct her or she will blow up on you and get defensive. Avoid a class with her if you can.

I did not like Dr. Magiera. She dances around questions, does not display respect for students, grades inconsistently and plays favorites. Office hours are at bizarre times. She is inflexible and unwilling to consider the opinions or ideas of others. Caused lots of unnecessary stress. Avoid her.

Her class is not easy, but it really does prepare you for teaching. She is nitpicky and wants everything HER way, it helps you become better organized. Organization is key for teachers! It's not "hard", just lotsa work. Go to her office hours-it helps. She doesn't "hate", she is just honest. Your work blows? She'll tell you without sugarcoating it

Nice person, though kinda crazy. She is very picky how she wants things done, but if you do the work you will do well in her class. Go see her if you need help or want her to look things over for you, you will be less likely to lose points for stupid things if you do. Overall a good teacher and class if you put in the effort.

Dr. Mageria knows what she is doing. She is very knowledgable in this field and is extremely helpful. Her course requires a lot of work, but what can you expect? It's college. The work is not that hard if you go to class and do it how she wants it to be done. (she is picky) She is available for help and gives her students enough to succeed with.

Straight up, she's a ****. Whatever you do don't show up late to her class or else she snaps on you. Don't expect her to help you unless she really likes you. Be ready for a lot of complaining - always whining about how many students she has. Also, her voice is SO annoying and way too high pitched, ask anyone who's had her!
