Dr. Reid is how I wish all professors were. She is very easy to learn from and her lectures are structured and simple. She is always very organized and detailed with her grading/feedback. She is very caring and genuinely tries to help everyone learn the material. She did not take attendance and we only had a few homework assignments.

Comment:

She's perfect for my learning style! She gives several examples and explains clearly. She encourages people to see her when they need help, which is an amazing quality in a professor. I doubt she ever learned my name, but at the same time there is this very caring vibe to her. Go to class, take notes, DO THE HOMEWORK, and you'll do very well!

Professor Reid is the absolute sweetest. I took Business Stats for my minor and I had not been looking forward to it. Reid was so caring and excited about the material that you just really want to try your hardest though. She gives great feedback, grades quickly, and is easy to talk to. If you have to take Business Stats, go with her.

Professor Reid is great at teaching Busines Stats. It's up to you to do your HW and use it as a way to really practice and measure your progress of understanding the material out of class. She's very fair with grading, and there are plenty of extra credit opportunities. Hard work and dedication is a definitive requirement if you want to succeed!

Dr. Reid was an amazing professor! Always available to help and I'm not even a business major. Stats was required for my major and I was not looking forward to it. However, she makes it seem so simple. She will help with anything you don't understand. I would love to take another class from her!!

Dr. Reid is an overall good professor; however, acted a little jaded when I took her class. Also, has an attitude on the elitist side, but that is to be expected from a pure academic. She once asked me how my semester was going. I stated it was going very well, her reply was, It is still early in the semester. However, she is a good teacher.

This was one of the hardest classes I've ever taken. I had to go to tutoring, re-read each chapter, and make lots of flashcards just to get a B on a test. She's a nice person, but seems very impersonal. She's funny sometimes, and doesn't seem to take the class too seriously. You get a flashcard on each test, write small!

She is a very good teacher. She WILL help you if you need the help. She knows her stuff too!! The class is not "easy", but if you need the help she is always willing to help you. Take her class serious and ALWAYS do your homework, that will prepare you for her tests!

She's a smart, friendly, and fair professor who knows her stuff. On the first day she will tell you the only way to learn statistics is by doing it. FOLLOW THIS ADVICE! Go to her class everyday, and do the homework she gives you. If you don't understand the homework or something ASK HER! Or visit her office! She will be MORE than happy to help you.

I have always hated economics, so I was anything but thrilled when I found out I had to take it for Honors Credit I was pretty worried, but Dr. Reid makes it totally easy and stress free. She is super understanding and helpful and her exams aren't bad either. She lets you have a notecard with anything you want on it (so learn to write small!)

Dr. Reid is VERY easy to understand. She writes everything she says on the board during lectures and gives lots of examples. She assigns HW every class and goes over it the following class (don't turn it in). About 10 quizzes, but drops the lowest 2. If you pay attention and do the homework you'll do great!

I thought I would LOATHE statistics.. I am the worst math student ever!! But she actually makes it interesting and fun. She talks really fast but she does everything step by step so it's easy to look over it on your own and understand. Plus, she grades on if you know the steps involved... not if you get the wrong answer due to a computation mistake
