AS EVERYONE STATED, SPENDS NO TIME ON SECTIONS. AGREED,THAT SHE IS A NICE WOMAN, BUT TEACHING IS NOT FOR HER. IM AN A STUDENT UNTIL I TOOK HER CLASS. I CAN'T SAY IF SHE'S BIAS AS STATED ABOVE TAKE HER CLASS AND YOU DECIDE. WE NEEDED A BOOK SO I COULD TEACH MYSELF,. I WOULD LOOK FOR ANOTHER PROF. TO KEEP YOUR GPA. I DIDNT SIGN UP FOR ONLINE CLASS

My only problem with Mrs. Nichols is that she talks a bit quiet when giving lectures and goes through the material real fast; you get the hang of it as long as you pay full attention (you're SUPPOSED to, anyway). Overall a good math teacher who helps you understand math, shows you your mistakes, etc. Give yourself a lot of time to do the homework!

Honestly, I'm not the best math student, but Mrs. Nichols was a breath of fresh air for me. If you're a hands-on learner like myself take Math 119W with her! She watches you do problems on the board and goes over what you did wrong I got my first B in a math class in 3 years!!!

She made me hate this class. Very quick and flies through topics. This class was suppose to make math easier for me and to help me get a better understanding. She made it very difficult for me to do well in this class. Don't taker her!

did not like this class one bit. she does not let you use a calculator (which is stupid because calculators are everywhere!) she liked to give quizzes in the last 5 mins of class; and she made it very difficult for me to take my test in the testing center (which I am allowed to do)

Jumps from one topic to the other very fast. If you have question and your hand isn't up the second when she asks if there are questions you'll never get a answer and sometimes she still doesn't call on you when you've had your hand up for 5 minutes. She's very fast pace and if you are slow and take your time she is NOT the teacher for you.

I haven't taken a math class in 15 years, and was worried about it. She made math fun and easy to learn. She was very clear on how to work through problems and took them step by step. If you had questions or concerns on how to do a problem she was there to help. I highly recommend taking her class.

I can say that the class is not the easiest but Mrs. Nichols is a great teacher. She teaches fast at times but as long as you are willing to ask questions and take advantage of getting help during office hours or after class you should be fine. She is a wonderful and kind lady. I truly enjoyed her class and wish there were more teachers like her

I'm not one who does well in math at all. I get lost pretty easily, so a professor that actually goes step by step is what I need. Ms. Nichols is NOT that professor. She goes SO fast, & only gives one to two examples PER SECTION. If you do well going at a faster pace in math, take Ms. Nichols.

She's a great person and a good teacher. If you let her know she's moving to fast she'll slow it down. She assigns enough work not to annoy you but enough to drill it into your head. Tests were very easy. The finals were easy as well!! she will make the whole class do problems in the board as a group.

A nice lady, but hated her class! She doesn't fully answer any questions. VERY CONFUSING! Gives only 1 example per section! I will never sign up for a class of hers again. A lot of tedious BS work. Again, a nice lady, but confusing at just about everything!
