I had Katya for Sculpture and she was an amazing teacher. I had never done perspective work before and she is very good at what she does. She will go around while you're working and help you to see whats really their. I did a lot of work outside of class, but I am extremely proud of what I accomplished and couldn't have done it without Katya's help

I was terrified to take this class because I thought I was horrible at drawing, but Katya took the pressure off. Not overly critical, and definitely talented. From her class I learned not only how to improve my skills but also how to appreciate them. Don't miss class because you'll miss out on a day with the subject.

Kayta can turn anyone into an artist. In a class of people with mostly no experience, everyone learned enough to make impressive drawings of people and more by the end. You must be committed to attending class and spending time on each drawing in order to get a good grade.

I took her sculpture class. The class is all clay sculpture. There are 3 projects and one independent project. The 2 big projects are of the human head and figure from live models. The class is not easy, but she is very helpful.

While some people might say she is picky, she may ask about a few things in your work & fix it herself, but she only means the best by it. Wonderful class; can't miss alot or you will not know what assignments are due when & she will lower your grade. Very understanding & easy to meet with outside of class.

I had her for Drawing I and I thought she was alright. However, she was too picky and criticized other people's artwork, especially mine. She was also feeling sorry for me because of my hearing loss, which is a HUGE NO-NO, on her part.
