Dr. Brownsey is a great prof. He comes from a lot of real word experience and is not shy about sharing his stories with the class. If you have an issue, he is very understanding about it and attempts to accommodate. His assignments are fair and if you follow his instructions you'll do fine. One thing, he does get carried away in stories at times.

Brownsey is one of the smartest, most knowledgable, kindest, most genuinely caring, and charismatic people I've ever met in my life. If you put in even a little effort, and contribute to class conversation, he will make sure you get a good grade, and have fun in the process. If you skip a chance to take a class with him, you're making a mistake.

One of my favourite profs at MRU! Keith is such a caring and sweet person who truly understands students and recognizes not everyone is the same or learns the same way. He not only provides rewrites of papers if you ask, but takes the time to provide feedback. You'll get the best out of any course you take with him! Oh and he's hilarious!

He is a nice person, but most of us in the class would use multiple resources such as textbooks, in class lectures, PP's provided by him, and collaborating with our peers to study for the midterm and final and he would still only give out grades in the 70% range. It was kind of annoying because of that.

He is absolutely amazing, he was really supportive to me when I was dealing with familial issues, he is incredibly brilliant, I don't know why anyone is saying that he is rude or not helpful, because if you really need help he is there to assist! He does talk about his personal stories which I found awesome! I had him for 2 classes, he's awesome!

Keith Brownsey is hands down the best prof at MRU. I have taken 3 classes with him and wish i could take more. He is extremely understanding of personal circumstances and is one of the most intelligent and funny people i have ever met. He keeps class interesting by telling stories and is hilarious. Highly recommended.

Keith is a super funny and caring guy that gets to really know you (calls you Mr/Ms. *Your Last Name*). His personal moments are super touching and funny. Do take notes in his class as everything he says is oral. Would defs take again for any class if given the choice. Fun class full of discussion and participation of current events and Canada.

Probably the worst prof I have ever had the misfortune of taking. His jokes became repetitive after two classes. His personal stories, which half the time sound made up, take up most of class and offer nothing about the content. I had him for two classes and each time, I dreaded going because it was a waste of time.

I hated the man. Made horrible jokes. Wasted half the class talking about stuff that was non-relevant. Way too many personal stories. If you can plough through the jargon though and follow in class, it's honestly an easy A. I never even opened the textbook once, but I attended every class

Great Prof. His lectures can be a little boring, but it is political science. He is extremely understanding. If you need more time or help with an assignment he will accommodate your needs. Just make sure you go to class & read the textbook and you will do great. Gives very good and helpful feedback on assignments. Key thing is to go to class.

Keith's lectures can be long at times, but he loves to make jokes which makes them worth coming to! He's very understanding - he offered our class a rewrite of the midterm and was flexible on the due date of our paper. Tests are easy as long as you read the text and he gave good feedback on our papers. If you can take him, do it!

Really good prof. He is very understanding when it comes to assignments and lectures. He makes the class interesting even on an 8 am lecture on a Friday. He is very helpful and provides a lot of office hours. With a solid amount of effort, attendance, and reading the textbook succeeding in this class shouldn't be a problem.

I was very disappointed with Brownsey's class. Despite his painfully repetition, he was very hard to follow. His humour was nice at the start of the semester, but it became culturally racially insensitive. I found Brownsey to be quite rude when I asked for help. Overall, not the most interesting or professional teacher.

I can't give Mr. Brownsey a more positive review. His intro poli-sci class was the beginning of my overwhelmingly positive college experience. His sense of humour makes even the most dreary course content seem interesting. If students drift off he brings them back by addressing us by name or launching into a story about so-called 'uncle Swifty.' A+

One of the best profs I've seen so far. Does his best to use humour and to keep the class engaged. Textbook readings aren't needed for the classes themselves, but do them anyways; they'll be very useful for the midterm and final.

Awesome prof, nothing to say but really funny...always keeps students on their toes and his exams are adequately passable...anyone who has a "C" in his class should just drop out right now and just enroll in SAIT or UofC.
