Dr. Hearit is an awesome professor! I learned alot from him. In the beginning I was unclear on his grading methods but once the students expressed the need for rubrics he created them. I love how he adjusted the class to student feedback. He is always willing to help students succeed in class and in the professional world.

If you do not want to work, i.e. easy A, this is not for you. Dr. Hearit really makes you work hard for your grade. A LOT of time needs to be given to prepare your speeches to get an A. A quiz every week (If you never show up, 100 pts. down the drain). He is very knowledgeable about speaking and adapting to audiences - dont hesitate to ask him Q's

Keith Hearit is a very sweet man and he is funny. He does make the class fun with his funny, yet awkward comments. However, he is not clear on anything at all. I had to take this class for my major and regret taking it with him. I understand that my speeches should be graded on how well I give them, but his test are HELL and unfair! DONT TAKE!!

he's helpful because he gives a lot help on your speeches and always answers questions thoroughly. his test are unfair and hard. You are tested not on your competency of the subject, but on your photographic memory. He will literally ask questions like this, "according to the book, what was the first on the list of suggestions for blah blah.."

A great professor. Always helpful and clear. He helped me pass with a better grade, by meeting with him and always willing to clearify lecture and anything in the book that I wasn't getting. CLEAR and helpful study guides. Difficult class, but fun and easy to study for.

Very helpful prof. If you need anything done in the comm dept, Prof Hearit will help you. Fairly humorous and very energetic. Always throws 5-10 tough, specific questions on exams to see if you studied 10 hours or only 5. Ha.

killer hard tests. You think you know what you're studying and the knowledge is pretty basic, until you take the test that is. Barely passed any of his tests, but went to every lecture. If you're a good test taker, this is the perfect class for you.
