His lectures were very in depth and he used examples all the time, both videos and specific historical exmaples. He talks with a lot of expression so his lectures are very interesting, and he emphasizes that he's there for the student. Very helpful and accessible.

Prof. Weiser is excellent and is an expert on this topic. I found doing the lectures, taking great notes, doing the readings, doing the quizzes and participating really helped me excel in this course. I would definitely take another course with Prof. Weiser again!

You can really tell during his lectures that he is passionate about the content. He tries to make the class not so rigid by adding a bit of humor when he can. His course was a breeze, he was always willing to help so never be afraid to ask questions, he encourages active participation. If you are looking for a bird course,I would highly recommend

I really enjoyed his class. He is very willing to answer any questions students may have. He provided a study sheet before the exam. He uses pictures, maps, and videos often. He gave 3 question multiple choice quizzes about once a week (can do well if you pay attention)You have to work hard for your mark, but I would definitely recommend the class!

Keith Weiser is a fantastic professor with a great sense of humour. The atmosphere in class is always light hearted and easy going. He is a very well versed in many fields and is a very lenient marker (if you show that you are putting a little effort). He is the kind of guy you would love to have beer with!

Speaks very quickly and doesn't pause often enough, but aside from that very good! Nice. Fair. Answers emails quickly. You can get by without doing the readings. Terms and essay questions given before the exam. Uses maps, video clips, & pictures, and so it's not just him talking. Very interesting. Recommended!

HUMA 3829 was a very interesting course.Professor Weiser is a very great prof and his style of teaching is excellent. He also has a very good heart and when he sees that you make efforts, he gives you a good mark that you deserve.

The course is interesting but weiser ruins it. He talks too fast in lecture. He doesn't keep office hours and makes you feel stupid/laughs at you if you ask a question or don't give the answer he's looking for. He has no respect for others but demands respect for himself. It's like he has a complex and needs to take it out on students.

Why is this professor still around?? He humiliates and verbally abuses his students in front of the class as a whole and even more one on one. He doesn't care one bit about any of his students. Anything and everything he does is for his own gain only. Those like Professor Weiser should not be allowed to continue even if they have tenure.

Don't take this class unless you want to sit through hours of useless dribble. Most unorganized and yet completely arrogant man ever. He's selfish and mostly acts like a child. Maybe when he grows up he'll actually be a good teacher and care about people other than himself. Until then, just avoid. And if you take his class, remember, I warned you!

Fast talker. Confident to the point of arrogance. Not open minded to students' ideas. Has a bad habit of asking a question and then getting upset if you do not give him the exact answer he seeks. Why ask someone's opinion if you don't want to listen. Assumes you know the material before taking the class and lectures that way. It was an intro course
