Took this class online. The syllabus was so unclear, but it didn't matter much because she never followed it. We never knew when anything was due, and when something was due, we found out a few days beforehand. She was in Florida this entire semester too, so going to see her for clarity wasn't even an option. Horrible.

I liked her as a person but didn't care for her as a professor. It can be difficult to teach an online course and I feel that she had problems teaching COM 386 online. She did give great feedback though and was a generally likable professor-- if a bit unorganized. I believe she just had issues with the class being online.

I loved her!! She made the lectures much more interesting with personal anecdotes and class participation. I'm not sure if there is much option, but I would suggest you take her if you can for this course. Tests were a bit tricky but you'll do well if you study.

Very good lecturer, interesting and tells lots of stories and antecdotes. Uses a lot of youtube clips from TV shows and movies which is a nice break. Take notes exactly as she has them on the powerpoints and you'll do fine with the study guide/review/tests. Very friendly!

i had her for a class at ecu, i thought she was a very good teacher, and she had a great attitude toward teaching. she was very pleasant physically and teaching wise. you guys at state are lucky that she is there. we miss her at ecu.
