It was a Summer semester and very short amount of time to cover all the material, but if you are willing to put in some hours, it is very doable. The professor is easily approachable and willing to help with any questions you have.

Summer 6W2- All material is available online. Recaps the material every class so you don't need to read. 4 pg paper on a short story, 4 pg paper on a poem, annotated bibliography with 5 sources, 8 pg research paper on a play, 1 pg reflection. Great professor. Very easy going and helps students by making experience easier. She spends class going over the readings and talks about them, but usually goes off tangent. Has a system where every other class you get to leave 30 min early. Essays/H.W. are easy and gives you a chance to redo them, and it's not a lot; just like High School.

Kelly is THE BEST. She is hilarious and suuuuch a sweetheart. She gives easy reading and questions every night but the articles are short and easy reads and she never pressures anyone into participation. She is super understanding and always wants to help. Easiest grader around and just wants to make students life enjoyable and easy :)

do not take her as a teacher. she comes off as really nice but she is the toughest grader. she gave me a C on all of my papers and gave me no feedback at all. its as if she didn't even read the paper. and there is homework every class based on readings and she gives us an attendance sheet literally checking off if we participated or not.

She is a great professor. Small class size and she's able to relate to her students very easily. We'll swerve off topic a good amount but work still gets done. 3 essays. I took her Middle Ages course at City College (where she longer teaches). I liked how she is paperless. We posted all 3 essays and the weekly blog online. She allowed us to rewrite the first 2 essays. Her lectures are entertaining; a lot of humor in them. She followed the syllabus all semester, from week 1 to week 14. No rescheduling. I Recommend.

She definitely makes discussions and readings interesting, even if they are aren't. Provides great historical context and knows what she's talking about. Brit lit is definitely her field. She doesn't really inspire critical thinking, often asking plot questions from readings, which is pretty dull. Papers are decent, easy. She's a decent grader.

Tough grader, great teacher. Seriously, her explanations are great, she makes class so fun, and you learn a ton. Just make sure you work your ass off at those papers, because she does not give out A's lightly.
