If there is an issue he's understanding, but needs to understand that not everyone is interested in his area of study. For a required course by all majors he fails to understand that everyone is not fully invested or experts in his field, and he puts a lot of weight on those who are in his field to guide those who are not.

Very kind man. Lecture is heavy and note taking is essential in most courses he offers, however, they aren't difficult. We are in college, courses will be challenging. He is an awesome teacher!

Felker is an average teacher to me. Take a lot of notes in class and some people believe he goes to fast, just need to realize you don't have to write down EVERY word. Plus most of the notes are directly from the book if you look at it. Group WHP proposal is a big part of your grade so hope you get good people to work with. Have to go to class.

he is not a good example of health education...plus is very stuck on his own ways. if you dont do it his way he doesn't like it. seems like he has his favorites, and grades hard. not worth taking...and docks you for missing class. doesn't return calls or emails!

This guy sucks. Watch out... I had him for Health & Weight Training. Would have been an okay class, but he fails to announce at the beginning of the semester that we have to do a 5 minute oral presentation. I would have dropped the class had I known that.
