Comment:

Kierans moves so slowly he seems to be floating underwater. He is -- in his words -- an "old geezer." He has confessed romanticized feelings for Nietzsche and WWII, which is hilarious... until it's irritating. However, he's an intelligent, witty lecturer and pushes students to challenge their world views. You will mature in his class.

He's changed, I swear! Very rarely late, friendly, likes engaging with students, a fair to easy marker, most lectures are focused and the course content is really interesting, especially the second half of the year. He is eccentric, but you will grow to love him like a wonderfully intelligent and slightly crazy uncle. Take his classes.

Always thought he was a good FYP lecturer, proved more or less useless by the end of CSP 2000. Incredibly bright guy, but I sometimes wonder if he notices there are students in the room

He is an incredibly intelligent man. I often find myself in awe of him. My only regret is that I could never get the source books he wanted, and therefore could not get higher marks on our papers.
