I absolutely love this man. He is one of the BEST professors I have had thus far. He is funny and extremely laid back. All his tests and quizzes are online, open note/ open book and done in your own time. Easy class and amazing professor!

Explains everything well. He's also read out all of the questions on the test to us. You don't actually have to come to class to pass, and he made that really clear. Fun guy. Beware a bit, though. You /really have to read/.

He's a very laid back professor. Seems to really love his students! 3 exams and one homework assignments. He doesn't check if you do the homework but you definitely would want to do the assigned homework! I normally spend 9 hours a week on homework and I manage to pass all of my exams! Kinda have to put in the effort to really understand accounting

Easy class if you pay attention, for the most part. Make sure you study the test questions when he says them a week in advance and you should be set to go. Also, find someone to do the one HW assignment with. 3 tests (100pts each) & 1 HW (50pts)

Accounting sucks in general, but he taught it very straight forward and clearly. Show up to class if you don't understand the material otherwise attendance isn't graded. Rips all of his test questions from online and they're all take home, you do the math.

Ken Machande is an excellent accounting professor. He knows his stuff and teaches in a way that is engaging and makes you interested in the topics presented. He has a lot of wisdom and is a great guy to get to know outside of class. Even if you aren't a business major, take 131. You won't regret it. He is one of the best professors at Mary Wash.

Really a great teacher. He's more than willing to help with any questions you have inside and outside of class. Spends adequate time on each chapter to ensure that material is properly covered. He tells you what will be on the test a week before hand so you know exactly what to study. Doesn't take attendance. Basically impossible to fail

Loves what he does. Tells funny stories in class and uses great examples. Makes you love class and is the kind of fun person you'd hang out with. You have to keep up with homework, which he always goes over, to keep up but tests questions are simpler then book problems. Only one homework is graded (he lets you know ahead) and rest of grade is tests

i think his accounting class is easier if you have him for both semesters, just because of the way he teaches. he's an incredibly nice man, but i really struggled in this class. if you don't understand something, he's beyond willing to help. his tests are very hard, but ok class if you work.

This simple: 3 Exams each worth 100 points, 1 homework = 50 points. Spends 3 days on a chapter. Day 1 u go over the concept, nxt 2 days goes over the pract probs. U will learn the material best this way. He reads the exam to the class 1 week before. Copy quickly to get it & practice. He will change the #s on the exam. Take him both semests. 131-32
