Hes clearly an excellent economist. However, cant say hes an excellent teacher. He knows what hes talking about but doesnt do a good job explaining to others exactly what that is. Probably The most difficult subject to simplify and yet the way he teaches is in such broad ways that you will never understand anything unless seeking help elsewher

Gives study guides with answer keys before test which is almost exactly the same as test. Homework is difficult, but he has many hours you can see him, and he makes it known. Lectures can get long and confusing, but just ask questions. Got an A.

Never try to make a logical argument contrary to his "set in stone" opinion. He won't listen and will become very hostile.

Economics has never been my strong suit, and Dr. Smith was always able to help whenever I needed assistance. It wasn't my favorite class, but he graded fairly and was attentive to the needs of students.

I have taken other classes with Dr. Smith and he is the best. Some days the material may not be the most interesting, however, it is inevitable for a 101 course. He gave our class two options with the textbook, either buy an old version or use a free online textbook. His office hours are very extensive, so it is pretty easy to ask questions.

"Dr." Smith is all about political correctness. Facts are judged as to whether they are politically correct. This boy has no backbone and jumps to conclusions not based on logic. AVOID!!!

Dr. Smith is extremely helpful if you ask questions, and overall is a really good prof- pretty straight forward. He grades really hard though, and all his tests are open essay. He puts the textbook online for free.

Dr. Smith is a great professor. He is almost always in his office when I go to him. This was a writing class so there was a term paper and all the tests and homework were written. He gives great feedback and is very fair to his students. I definitely got a lot out of his class.

Microeconomics is a difficult class if you haven't taken Macro. He's a very nice teacher, always asks if the class has any questions. Problem set answers are online, and the practice test is almost identical to the real ones. 6 Problem sets, 2 tests and a final. Curves grade, but still pretty challenging.

Overall a very good teacher. Can always help you if you're having trouble. As long as you do his practice tests, the real ones are almost identical. As long as you go to class, study, and do the work, it can definitely be an easy A.

Not going to lie, I have a huge crush on Dr. Smith. He's easy on the eyes plus he's intelligent and a nice professor. If you show up and take good notes, you will pass but you have to pay attention to his lectures. I would love to take him again.

He is a nice professor, however his class is a little bit challenging. The class averages on tests was like 60. He curves the grades. I found the class fairly easy. I got an A and I just payed attention and then studied for the exams. He is helpful, so go to him if you have questions. Good guy, class may be difficult for some but I would recommend.

Dr. Smith is a pretty cool guy. Most people said the class was tough but I got good test grades with minimal studying. Attendance isn't mandatory and he doesn't use a textbook. He is very helpful if you ask questions. The test averages in the class were in the 60s but most of the kids were freshman so that;s probably why.

Very fair teacher. Exams were pretty straightforward. Doesn't take attendance, but missing class only hurts your grades. Class wasn't particularly interesting, pretty much just took notes, but I did learn a lot. The paper is a pain in the ass so make sure you start early! Overall I definitely recommend him.
