Smith's class was the hardest class I've ever taken, but I studied and worked hard and ended up fine. He doesn't use MyClasses or update his syllabus, which was pretty confusing, but you get used to him.

This is one of the most challenging class, but you will learn a lot and Dr. Smith will teach everything you need to pass the class. If you really want to work in the accounting field and don't understand this class, just change your major instead of blaming the professor. This class takes tons of time. Best of LUCK.

You have to take this class very seriously in order to pass but it is not impossible. Professor Smith gives you everything you need in order to pass his exams and mostly all of the material is straight from the book. If you can read through the chapter and comprehend what you're reading you will be fine. BAM takes a lot of time but is not that bad.

That is the worst part of Salisbury University that you have no option to choose teacher other than David Amerson for Acct 304 and Kenneth Smith for Acct 305. If someone told you that these teachers are not friendly then still you have to take classes from these teachers. Overconfident and want to see the students at their own level.

Dr. Smith is the accounting chair, so he has the program's best interest in mind when he is teaching this class. Don't expect to just slide by; he has no problem failing you. His tests are difficult, but if you study well enough you should be able to pass them all. BAM takes up A TON of time. This class is doable if you make it a priority.

BAM will take regularly scheduled time outside of class throughout semester to complete. You need to pass exam if you want to pass. Study hard for tests and be ready to put in ample time for BAM. Smith is sarcastic, but hard work will impress him. He is very knowledgeable and wants the best for the program, which means he is not afraid to fail.

This class will make you or break you. Tests are very hard, almost impossible. There are weekly quizzes and online homework. If you read and pay attention in class they are both easy. BAM will consume your life, don't overload yourself. Smith will almost always put you on the spot. BE PREPARED

This class is pretty tough but if you read the textbook and understand the cengage hw you will pass. The midterm is the hardest test in my opinion. BAM is as bad as you hear it is. It is like a second class, so when he warns you not to over commit with other things he is legit. Has extremely high expectations so always be prepared for hw and BAM

Dr. Smith will give you the grade you deserve based on how you perform in the class. This class is no joke. It is the bread and butter of the profession so you need to get this down or else you will see all of your peers land top jobs ahead of you. It's not the professor, its just the nature of this course.

Prepare for this class to take over your life. His tests are tough and you are expected to do most of the work outside of class. BAM will take up most of your free time and if you don't understand what you're doing for BAM then don't expect to pass. Study about a week or two in advance for the tests unless you're an accounting wiz.

Dedication is the key to this class. You have to be prepared in advance to spend the time you need to get the job done. I spent more time on the BAM work than on the textbook work, but you have to learn both. Although it may look like BAM is only a small part of your grade, take it seriously, because you cannot pass without doing well on it.

Hardest and most demanding class you will ever take. The man is the most regimented human being but the best teacher you will ever have. He cares so much about the program and devotes so much time for the students.

Dr. Smith works you hard all semester long. The class is demanding and BAM never stops until the end of the course. If you put the time and effort into it Dr. Smith will help you and you will succeed. I had an internship, part-time job, and 16 credits and still got an A. You can be very succesful in 305 you just have to grind it out. Good luck!

Yes this class will be your entire life the semester you take it. Yes you may feel overwhelmed. As long as you stay on top of the material and with BAM, you will be fine. Don't fall behind and take easy classes to lighten your load for this monster. Smith is tough but fair. He means well, so be prepared to suck it up and work hard.

It isn't as bad as everyone says it is. I worked 40 hours per week and was in a fraternity and still managed to get an A. If you are committed you will be able to get the grade you want in the class. That being said every now and then (I went out only on Saturdays) you won't be able to go out. It is a busy class so schedule appropriately.

Most difficult class I've taken. It WILL consume your life. Your grade can only be as high as your highest exam grade, even if you fail a test, it won't hurt you. Work your butt off and it will pay off. The work load is equal to 2 classes in one, so be careful when scheduling. Learned more than I ever thought I would. Smith is tough but fair.

Dr. Smith has definitely lightened up a bit, but the class is still extremely time-consuming. BAM will be your life for the semester. Make sure you come to class prepared (at least skim the readings and ALWAYS do the homework). I recommend buying the Gleim book and doing practice problems. It will help with quizzes and exams.

for the accounting major this class will make you or break you. This class is the nightmare you heard about but if you goto him for help, get a decent BAM group, and study consistently you should be able to pass the class. And Yes BAM does take as long as you've heard, so dont take it lightly. Its pretty much two classes in one...bye social life

Demanding but fair. Does not tolerate those who try to skate the course assignments, but will work hard with students who truly want to learn.
