The BEST professor JMU has to offer! If you have any opportunity to take a class with Kenn I would 100% recommend it! He is a motivation specialist and wants to see everyone succeed. I have never met someone so passionate about psych and his students.

One of the best professors I have had so far at JMU. He really cares about all of his students and wants them to get As. If you do the review questions in the book you will easily get an A on all of his tests. Lectures can be kind of boring sometimes but he does his best to avoid the. Has a lot of funny catchphrases that change every year Take Him!

Corny professor, but kind. Loves to talk about himself a little too much. Very laid back, easy going, and accessible outside of class. He clearly states attendance isn't mandatory, but hopes you will attend because you personally want to. Get on his good side, take decent notes, and you'll pass. His review sessions are the bomb too!

Kenn is an excellent professor! Apply to PLC, he opens this class for a jump-start to PSYC freshmen. He is so well-prepared and passionate about psychology. If you have any question, go ask him, because he always makes himself available for his students! He definitely wants everyone to succeed in the class. Do take his class. Highly recommend!!!!

First off, PLC. Second, Kenn is absolutely the best professor I have ever had. He will respond to your emails when you're freaking out at 3 AM (usually within around 15 minutes). Does everything in his power to make sure everyone is comfortable with the material/due dates, etc. Helped me get an amazing internship. He's the best!!!
