Professor Avio approaches his subject matter enthusiastically and encourages his students to do the same. Although his was by far one of the more challenging courses I've taken, I enjoyed it and would recommend this professor to anyone with a serious interest in economics.

Avio is a great prof. He made 311 a very interesting course with a fair marking scheme and no surprises on tests. If you go to class you will really learn a lot. Hopefully he will be teaching again next year!

I loved the class and did really well in it. It was easy if you went to class and actually read the notes before the midterm. Dr. Avio is always there to help, he is very clear and conscise when it comes to concepts, at the same time he doesn't go too fast. it is important to go to every class since some of the stuff isn't in the text. Avio rocks.

Alot of material to cover, Stay on top of the readings and make sure you do the asigments. Tests are fair, hard but fair.. Easily get a good grade if you put the effor in. Whereas you can pass without even trying.

I didn't think Avio was that bad, he's a little dull at times, but his classes are clear and consice and he always uses loads of examples to help you understand. I would recommend this prof.

He's a nice guy, but quite unclear at times. My fav. prof (if i had the choice) is Kaplash! I'd see if I could get into Kaplash's class before Avio, although Avio isn't the worse.

Professor Avio seems very passionate about economics and is VERY knowledgeable. Tests are hard but you just have to study a lot!!! A LOT! Of course, the course is boring but drawing on peoples faces while they sleep is a definate plus.
