He heavily relys on slides, but if you take notes you'll be fine. Attendence isn't mandatory, but he does give out a bunch of extra credit you don't want to miss. Textbook is free online. Tests are online.

Ehrensal's class is very lecture heavy, he uses slides but a decent amount of the information you need is verbal. Tries to crack jokes, which sometimes can be funny, but it doesn't make up for much else. The exams are unnecessarily hard and take a lot to prepare for. If you are taking this class for a gen. ed, I would not recommend this professor.

He is a great teacher & has perfect examples. If you go to class and take notes from his lecture you will be set for the exams. Readings aren't too long & he assigns interesting videos for each module. He also gives extra credit videos that are very short, so take the time to get the points. You will be able to learn a lot & earn an A.

It is such an easy class. The only thing he grades is 4 exams and they are at home, online, open note, and open book. There is no way you could fail this class unless you really don't try. If you miss class you just need to get the lecture notes from someone else and you will be fine.

One of the smartest professore at Kutztown. His knowledge is limitless and will always help a student in need. He makes you buy two cheap books. He gives lectures that are really interesting, attendance is mandatory but they were fun to listen to. HAd two exams and a few journal entries. Would take him again in a heart beat!!

He was a very good professor and is very knowledgable about his stuff. It was a very difficult subject for me to grasp and I didn't end up doing well but not going to lie, I didn't try my best and this professor was willing to work with you.

Was taken for a Sociology elective, and it was a mistake. There are 5 reaction papers to videos you have to watch, and he knows if you're bs-ing them. Three pop quizzes, a midterm and final. Very writing intensive . Book only needed for weekly quizzes, which are 10 question and straight from the book. It isn't needed other than that.

I'm not interested in Anthropology at all, so the lectures were kind of boring. But after listening and taking notes, it was actually some interesting stuff. You're only graded through 4 exams, so as long as you get the notes from someone you don't really need to go to class. He doesn't take attendance.

Good guy. He's knocks on craft beer a decent amount but it's a fun argument. Dry sense of humor but a good professor.

A diamond in the rough in KU's faculty. This man changed my life for the better and got me prepared for the reality of work. Preeminent professor that changed my outlook on life. Very laid back, doesn't care about cursing, appreciates raw honesty in writings and such-don't be scared of going into graphic details- he loves it and is very insightful.

He was really funny. He cared as much as you cared, if you didn't show up, ever, he didn't care. He had all online tests with extra credit. It was basically like an online class and I taught myself a lot because I missed a lot of class. The times I did go to class though, I was never disappointed because he was extremely funny yet knowledgeable.

I really have no idea how people get A's in this class, I'm happy I passed with a D because he gives online exams. I found this class to be the only upset in my grades. A's and B's and this one D for a "required" class that I don't even major in. Its so-so... (without those extra credit videos I would of failed for sure)

Ehrensal is a really nice guy, however his class is so boring I fall asleep almost every time I go. You MUST write down literally everything he says in class because that's a majority of what his tests are on.

The Man, The Legend. He does actually care if you're not understanding something and he is quite entertaining as far as reaching to cultural aspects of marketing and anthropology. I suggest taking as least one class , because he'll give you different perspectives in all sorts of matters.

Took Ehrensal for cultural anthropology. Lectures were long but he kept the class mostly engaged. Lots of extra credit on exams so its easy to pass if you read the textbook and assigned reading.

Great professor. He's hilarious, for one. All exams are online and there's plenty of extra credit opportunities. He's very open to questions and fixes issues quickly. The books are needed, but cheap and helpful. The schedule was very easy to work with. The lectures were long, but clear, interesting, and funny. If you can take him, do so.
