This was a first year class, so the students gave Kevin lots of deer-caught-in-headlights looks. This happened when he asked, apparently,thought-provoking discussion questions. One class, he came into the classroom and asked a question. Class silent. He threw a piece of chalk, said "Get out everyone. I'm not flapping my gums all term." True story.

This could have been a great course; the topics were interesting. But Keving doesn't seem to care if you learn anything or not; classes were unstructured and he didn't really seem to want to be there. If you show up in office hours, he treats you as if you are a nuisance.
