Comment:

We often started class by meditating followed by breaking up into groups all around Keating to discuss readings. He loved to keep things fresh and informal. He manages to combine relevant course topics and humor. Only 2 tests on 3-5 chapters each (just read textbook you'll get an A) and a few short response papers. Highly recommend.

Course is the perfect culmination of ethics courses at Fordham. Professor Jackson is amazing: brilliant, funny, and incredibly engaging. His class format, material and class presence make the course fascinating. I would recommend both the course and Professor Jackson again!

Professor Jackson is one the best professors at Fordham. Extremely knowledgable on the topic of ethics and brings real world examples into the discussion to which we can all relate. He is engaging, funny and memorable as a teacher.

Absolutely incredible prof. Every other prof at Fordham should aspire to be like Kevin Jackson. Makes you think and learn without an ounce of homework or testing or even realizing you're thinking and learning. I've taken him for 2 classes and both have been a pleasure. Laugh at his jokes and you'll enjoy a great semester.

Easy A. Don't have to read. Midterm and a final. Four short essays due with the midterm (like 2 paragraphs each so barely the equivalent of one essay for a normal class). On group project that can literally be about anything. Literally about anything.

Great guy, easy class. We literally did yoga for 20 minutes. Super chill and has interesting topics. You can get away with not reading. Be sure to participate and laugh at his jokes, he's very personable. Lectures may be boring at times. Try to get to know him outside of class.

Prof. Jackson's class is awesome. He's hands down the best law/ethics professor at Fordham. Course totally rocks -- he's humorous, interesting, keeps things moving. Grading is hard but pretty fair.

Jackson expects you to come to class well-prepared and then takes it from there. He assigns a lot of reading. If you read everything you'll get a lot out of the class and will make it through the tests. Case studies are interesting and make for great classroom discussions, which Jackson is especially good at conducting.

I would have liked to have learned more from this class. Jackson really doesn't do all that much. Lax on attendance and work and grades. Tests are sort of difficult and annoying to study for. Tries to make the class funny which is nice, but I really wouldn't recommend him strongly.

This is kind of a dumb class, but Jackson is a great person to teach it. About half of the class is him making admittedly funny jokes. He keeps the class interesting because the other half is spent discussing ethical issues in business, which can get boring fast. He's very lenient on attendance and work, and I would recommend him for Bus Ethics.

I was in his night class and it was a complete joke. He doesn't lecture half of the time. He just banters with you and tells jokes. He says the objective of his class is to have a good time and to laugh. One midterm and One final each worth 50%. I had to do my own reading and take my own notes for both exams which were quite extensive in material.
