Professor O'Connor is great! I have no interest in religion whatsoever and his classes were interesting and he related topics on our level. I learned a lot in this class and without a lot of unnecessary busy work. Show up to class, do the readings and participate and you'll do fine.

Great teacher--always interesting and very funny. Loves baseball and his wife. His classes close instantly, so get a senior to hold a spot. Participation is Key to a good grade (there's NO way around it, but I guess that's why it's in bold capital letters on the syllabus! Duh). One of the two religion profs at Siena actually worth taking.

He's all right. Very funny - but like others have noted, he is veryyy hard to read. If you don't do the reading, you're in trouble. If you don't participate or raise your hand for every question he asks, you're in trouble.

Absolutely hilarious, but very hard to read. One minute he wants to have fun and the next he is lecturing you about how important class participation is for your grade. If you want to laugh alot take him, but make sure you participate.. alot. Personally, I recommend he quits teaching and just becomes a standup comedian.

By far the best teacher/professor you will ever take. O'connor will make your favorite teacher in grammar and highschool look like your biggest enemy. Smart. Fair and willing to do anything to help his students. If you dont take this teacher AT LEAST once, than you are wasting your money at Siena. Even if religion isnt your major. TAKE HIM
