He is HORRIBLE! Lectures you for half the class on how we need to be adults. Makes mistakes and students need to correct him. Teaches things elementary students will NEVER learn like Babylonian numeration. DO NOT TAKE HIM. Makes fun of students and is not helpful.

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS! This is the worst professor I have ever had. He does not know how to teach. When a student asks him a question he humiliates them. His explanations are confusing and he does not like to do examples on the board. He speaks to the students like they are in kindergarten and spends half of the class time preaching.

This class is meant to be a refresher course in math for perspective teachers to be able to teach children. Other profs. in 119 make students do lesson plans and stuff like that. TERRIBLE! I took him despite the bad ratings...big mistake. I'm OK at math but still got a C-. A girl got sick and was throwing up during an exam and he still wouldnt let her reschedule it! He's a pathetic excuse for a teacher/person. Comes in with oldschool sayings every day like "only hard work gets rewards" and bull like that. He ruined my GPA!

He's basically a nice man who has his particular way of explaining things. Can't emphasize enough how important it is to do the HW's, especially part A, and ask him to show you how to do the problems you didn't know how to do. Unless you're a natural at math, it's a tough course (HW takes a lot of time). He takes attendance at every class.

he is the worst professor ever. He tells us his office hours but he's never in his office. Does not help you at all. We had a fire drill during class and he continued teaching and made us stay until a firefighter came in and told us to leave and he says "now you can run" don't ever take him!

I simply Love Mr. Khan's way of teaching.He simply made me Love mathematics. He teaches from scratch and you develop interest for it. He has been teaching in QC for almost 15 year...this man sure has KNOWLEDGE. I really respect him a lot.He does have an accent (pakistani) but it is not like that it is not understandable.
