I'm not a student at NOVA, just took this for a summer class. Professor Quach is very funny and engaging. You don't need a textbook for his class, all the tests are based off in class notes. He's really intense about attendance, so don't skip. He gives a lot of extra credit and is generous in determining your final grade. The class was interesting!

He teaches the materials very well to class. He provides practice exams to help you prepare for test and lots of extra credit opportunities. Pay attention and try to read the assignment for class,so you know exactly what the lecture is based on.

Professor Quach was one of the best professors I have ever taken at NOVA. He is funny and gives out a ton of extra credit. Show up to class as he gives out most of his extra credit during class and gives group assignments as well. Do these and do fairly well on the tests you should be fine!

The best teacher I've had! These classes are detailed, and Quach makes learning it a breeze! No homework. Participation earns you extra grading points. Lecture and notes heavy. Do not skip class. He knows what he's talking about, and provides funny jokes and real-life lessons along the way. The notes you take during lectures are used for tests.

Professor Quach is a good teacher and is very passionate about his job, he doesn't give hw so its an easy class. He does give in class assignments the first five minutes of class so do not be late!! Unfortunately, the only way to find out your grade is to calculate it yourself, he posts graded assignments on blackboard, allowing everyone to see

I take the shuttle early in the morning to arrive to Nova. I had his class at 8 am. The shuttle gets their at 7:55. By the time I get to class its 8:02, and he purposely makes an assignment in the morning to weed out the late people. Seemed like a passionate teacher but uncompromising.

A LOT of in class notes but they go by quick. his notes are your best friend for the exams so make sure you show up

Great Teacher, The accent threw me off at first, but he definitely knows what he is talking about. He puts up a lot of stuff on the board, so get ready to write down, because he uses information and graphs on the 2 exams and on "In Class" assignments. He gives out a lot of extra credit so it is easy to finish the class strong. Don't miss a class.

Professor kiet was an amazing Eco professor I have this semester. There are only 2 exams and he gives around a total of 20 group class assignments to do. No textbook is needed for this class if you're a good note taker. Attendance and participation MATTERS in his class. Do not leave class in the middle of his lecture because he will CALL YOU OUT!!

WORST PROFESSOR IN MY LIFE! He didn't provide any course documents to the blackboard, no books,I have no idea how can I review the lesson in the day I was absent. Second, he didn't care for you understand the lessons or not, he just teaches like a machine and usually off topic. Third, he didn't reply my email when I want to confirm the exam days.

If you are late person, you won't pass. Gives in-class group assignments at the beginning of every class. Attendance IS mandatory. Final grade is based on attendance, in-class assignments, and two tests. Be ready to write down many notes. Writes everything on board. No textbook needed, but make good study partners (in case you miss class)

Attendance is mandatory. He gives out in-class assignment at the beginning of class, and if you're late then you miss it and it hurts your grade. Just show up on time and write down everything he writes on the board and study. You will pass with an A then. Also, he's funny and entertaining.
