This class is pretty difficult. Dr. Key does a good job explaining it and she is accessible outside of class. You are graded on 4 exams, homework assignments, and project. Be prepared to read and study a lot in order to get a B.

Dr. Key is great. This is income tax so obviously it isn't the easiest. But she really does make an effort to teach you as well as possible. The homework and in class examples really prepare you for the tests, and she has a few buffer grades in as well. Tests are open notes too so that's a huge plus.

This class was very difficult, but Dr. Key did a great job of giving us lots of homework assignments that helped boost our grades. She also is a very lenient grader on the tests (in my opinion). I always felt like I failed the tests but I never did. She is all over the place which makes it difficult to retain the material. She is a nice lady though

Dr Key was such a sweet lady. She worked hard to try and use newer technology for class. Last 2 exams were open book/notes. Exams are difficult but tax is a difficult subject. She is open and willing to help in her office hours. Work hard to understand the subject and she will help you achieve good grades

The structure of this class was 3 exams, 3 outside assignments, and about 10 online homework assignments. To me, the exams were very challenging and very detailed. Prepare to study a lot, but she lets you use the book during 2 exams. The homework and outside assignments really saved me along with 20 points of extra credit she offered at the end.

Dr. Key is great! She teaches some challenging material and I believe I am better prepared for my profession than before I took her class, but she tests and grades in a way that is quite unforgiving. Memorize the book for the sake of your GPA or remember it's an elective and don't take it unless you must. Audit non-MAcc students need not apply.

This is by far the hardest class I have taken in college. The class average for pretty much every test was a D. She doesn't scale or offer any extra credit. It. Is. Rough. On the bright side, she knows what she's talking about. She is very kind and easy to approach and more than willing to help. Just be ready to seriously work hard for a C.

If you're taking Tax 2 you've probably heard the rumors, and they're mostly true. Extremely difficult class but it's doable! Go to class, and even to her office hours. She's a pretty cool lady if you get to know her and she's more than willing to help you out. Start studying for the exams early.. you'll need all the time you can get to study!

Dr. Key knows business taxation. Listen to her & learn. She has a very pleasant personality, treats the students like professional adults, & makes class enjoyable. There is a good amount of work in this class, but in the end you will understand corppartnership taxation. Dr. Key was always available & truly showed that she cared about students.

This is the hardest class I've ever taken. The tests are extremely difficult and it is hard to understand what's going on in class. Take every extra credit opportunity! Attendance isn't mandatory, but it definitely helps to be there.

Gives 4 exams then a noncumulative final (still basically cumulative). GET TO KNOW HER! Wonderful lady and great resource for the MAcc program. You can't fly under her radar, so don't get on her bad side! Fair grader but tests are tough. Read book and take REALLY detailed notes! To get an A is awesome but be proud of a B. It's a tough class!

I've taken every undergrad ACCT class at AU &This is definitely the most difficult. Incredibly nice prof. Going to class helps. What she explains is exactly what will be on exam. Tests get easier as semester goes on so kill yourself to do well on T1 and it won't be as bad going forward. Take notes in class & do HW 2-3x through and you'll do fine

I am not sure what changed from the '10 ratings to now but Key is by far the worst teacher I have ever had. She stands in front of class with nothing and explains a math problem outloud. Be prepared to learn everything on your own. Her tests are way too long and the average on our 1st test was an F. That should not happen. Awful Awful Awful.

This class is naturally hard. I attended every day, took notes, did homework, and did everything and barely passed with a D. I recommended getting the study guide with the book. Dr. Key makes the examples very easy in class and then makes the test questions very hard and tricky. Good luck.

Tax II can be intimidating at first because it seems really complex, but Dr. Key does a good job of trimming out unnecessary information and focusing in on key concepts. You will get a lot out of class sessions if you read beforehand. That makes it much easier to follow along during class and after class when you try to work problems on your own.

Dr. Key is very energetic and really enjoys teaching her class. The mood in the class is light and quite relaxed. I thoroughly enjoyed her class and can't wait to take Income Tax II with her in the Spring.

Very challenging class, but a very good teacher. I enjoyed this class. You have to work hard. I will probably have a C, because the first test I falied but did good on the others. The final exam is just two chapters like the other exams. Even though I made a C I learned a lot!!!!
