Comment:

I took the accelerated pre-calculus with Kim. We essentially had a test every week, ending the semester with 10 chapter tests, 3 assignments, midterm, and a final. It was tough, but she is super caring and if you show you care she will do anything to help you succeed. Use the text for practice as its harder than her actual tests. Very organized.

I had kim for math 0600 (pre calc 12) and she would teach the easier parts of subjects and give you homework with stuff she didn't teach. She moves through topics really quick through class, but if you don't understand you can always ask her to go over it again and she will.

Kim is an all around great teacher. She makes you work hard to do well in class, but her lectures are detailed. She is a serious person but not enough to not crack a joke here and there. Any serious student will have enjoyed taking a course with her at the helm.

Comment:

Worst class I've ever had. Teacher is exceptional at making simple problems overly complicated. I learned far more by reading the text than by sitting in class. She jumps all over the map from one section to another and the tests often (not always) have massive disconnections between the assigned homework and actually test questions.

Kim is amazing, funny and really cares about her students. She grades super fair. The only docked marks in my review are due to me not liking math. I highly recommend her as a teacher. She actually makes math enjoyable! She puts a lot of effort into her job (more than most teachers). You have to put effort in to though(duh).

Amazing math teacher. Super friendly and helpful. You HAVE to do the homework or you won't have a chance, but her explanations are very clear and her tests are fair. Her course pack is amazing: everything you need to learn is in it, clearly explained. She treats students like adults, so don't take her if you're not prepared to put in the effort.

Good teacher, seems bland at first but likes to crack jokes, will also be very obvious if she's not having a good day. Explains things very clearly and will help you if you need it. Assigns homework but doesn't check so only marks are from tests. I really enjoyed her
