Extremely disorganized and rude. Honestly didn't mind her teaching style. Loved power points and didn't mind the online work, but her personality ruined the whole course. Lost one of my unit tests due to her disorganization and averaged my other two tests to make up for it. Avoid her.

Amazing Professor! Tons of extra credit. If you put in the work, there's no reason not to get an A. She's easy to talk to, funny and makes learning fun and interesting! I look forward to having future classes with her! Best professor I've ever had! Incredible woman, with a lot to offer students that want to learn!

Prof. Scheuerman is a funny lady. She is bad at remembering names but she will like you if you speak up. It is often her way or the highway, but her way includes tons of extra credit and all quizzes are online with the textbook, so they are ridiculously easy to get a 100% on. Tests are easy too. Just put in some work and show up and you've got an A

Really great professor, she is wierd! Her tests utilize only her lecture notes (super easy) The textbook is a great resource, but she does not use it (Study from it!) Participation and attendance do matter because both affect your grade, show up and it won't be an issue. I recommend this teacher a lot, she makes the class really interesting!

Fantastic Professor! She lives and breaths Psychology. Her lectures do not line with with text but the material is all the same. She really spells out the assignments to where you cannot help but do fantastic, just follow the directions to a T and you will do great!!!! Offers TONS of extra credit. You can't help but pass and fall in love w/Psych.

Amazing prof. Lives and breathes her job and seeing students learning and doing well. Need textbook for weekly only quizzes (very easy, 15 totally drops 3 of them), 4 or 5 tests (VERY EASY and lets you do extra credits review sheets to bring your test grade two steps up), paper about a movie with a mental illness (actually fun), fun class, speakers

Slap stick comedian, She's a hoot! You will pass with flying colors if you come to class everyday, participate (which is just collaborating with your neighbors), and READ THE SYLLABUS. She gives us MAAANNY opportunities for bonus points. Do the bonus Power Points before the tests, and you will have no issues passing the test. Awesome Professor!

Comment:

Overall a pretty good professor. Knows the subject matter well, and is straight forward with the tests and whats on them. She can get confusing with her powerpoints and study guides and sometimes she can be a little too "politically correct" with her comments. Do the online assignments and the bonus packets and you will pass no problem.

She's absolutely ridiculous. She is no way helpful with anything that she does. If you happen to walk in 2 minutes late, she marks you absent for the rest of the day. All she ever says when you have a question is REFER TO THE SYLLABUS. I waited 2 hours to meet with her about a paper and that's all she said to me. Deeply disappointed.

I personally enjoyed taking intro to psychology. You really will learn and benefit if you meet her 3/4 of the way, and she gives a quiz (not graded)at the beginning of the course and same at the end you will be surprised with how much you learn. She is energetic and outgoing and really does seek to have her students succeed.

I believe she is an amazing teacher. I took all her psych courses and enjoyed everyone of them. She can be a hard ass but if u take good notes u will be sure to pass. I learned a whole lot through her.
