I took two Psyc classes from Paul during my undergraduate course work. I have to admit the classes were much different from anything that I had experienced before. No exams, only group written papers. However, Paul made you think. His in-class discussions were fascinating. He is utterly unique and a blessing. He is a true "teacher".

hmmm where to start he is interesting, a really nice man but has very weird view of life. He believes that victims do not exist, that he sees ghost that tell him how to interact with the class:s he tells us that we should get out of our `box` but it seems that he wants us to get into his I dont see how this type of class has ANYTHING to with psych

I agree with person below, most profs try to uphold an ego (that they know more then you). To paul everyone is an equal. learn by unlearning, listen to that voice inside your head, and stop worrying about the world 'out there'

Paul is great... he reminds us that we are all alive... his soul is open and and in tune with the 'real universe'. When we forget we are human.... we die...take the classes he offers if you want an honest opinion...something thats hard to find in a prof

Self-directed learning, no exams all papers, an easy 85%, you really only have to show up for the first class in order to pick the syllabus.

Paul encourages people to learn by themselves , what they want to learn,, think creatively. He doesnt bombard students with information against thier will, but will answer any question truthfully. Even though I rated him tough, Paul is one of the most influential professors ive had.

easy class, interesting for the most part. you don't have to attend the whole class, or even class to do well. the class i was in had one person who liked to talk.. A LOT which was kinda awkward for the rest of us. Paul's a great guy. def recommend any class he teaches

He really likes to talk but I find that someimes class turns into a big group therapy session. I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to learn from that class or that I've learned anything. Class would be much better if it was only an hour because no one stays after the first half of the 3 hr class.

I could not relate to this man at all. He was a confusing professor. Classes were boring, I would leave half way through. His essays are unclear and hard to write. Yikes!
