Dr...wait let me rephrase "Doctor" Schimmel is a sad representation of a doctorate professor. Lefton messed up on this one. I feel that the money I put into this class was an extreme waste and I am disgusted with my decision to take Sport in Society and Global Perspective with her. AVOID.

She is a great professor! She makes sure you understand everything she teaches. She creates a textbook and you read everything in it! She doesn't tell you when homeworks/pop quiz will be so you basically have to attend every class! Take her for Sport in Society, you wont be disappointed

I loved this class. (sport in society) By no means is this an "easy A" you really have to work for it. (which is how it should be) She really makes you think about the subject, not just at the surface level, but by diving deeper and answering tougher questions. 3 exams make up 80% of grade, and 20% in class work. LOVED IT!

Great class! took it for my minor wasn't real excited at first because reviews said it would be a tough class. It wasn't.. if you go to class, participate, do the readings, and ASK FOR HELP if/WHEN you need it then you'll love it. She makes the material fun and interesting and is always there to help you out! One of the best profs I had at Kent!

GREAT teacher. Not too easy, makes you work, but also makes you think in ways other teachers haven't before. I have learned more in her class than in any class I have ever taken. Great class, great teacher. Don't hesitate to jump into this class.

ok prof, did her job, though some of the reading was worthless, actually most of the reading was worthless, made you buy a reading packet which just reinforced what the book already said, and cost you more money for no reason
