You're allowed to have a cheat-sheet for quizzes, and the quiz questions are straight out of the practice problems, but they're graded very harshly. And you're only graded on the quizzes. He does give you a note-sheet for each lecture, and he goes over each specific part of the sheet. Very helpful for studying.

you will hardly learn anything in this class but its not difficult at all to get an A. Not sure if it was just my section but he seemed to give a lot of false information and equations that needed to be corrected and had trouble solving some problems in front of the class. Hes very willing to "try" to help you out.

Horrible teacher! I sat in the back of the class listened to music, played solitaire and was able to inform him that his answers were wrong. Test are multiple choice and rounded because and I quote "calculates don't give the same answer" also his rounded doesn't even make any sense.

Difficult to understand the concept of the problem. He teaches by doing the problems, not explaining the theories. He would always do the easy problems and assign the hard ones, so I never knew what to do or how to even start the problems. HW quizzes were easy if you understood the hw, and tests were confusingly written.

An older, soft-speaking professor who has a vast understanding of the topic. Daily homework quizzes are easy points provided you do the work and show up, but the multiple-choice choose-the-closest-answer exams are a little odd-ball. Not the most helpful professor I've had, but he explains the material well the first time around and is pretty easy.

The tests worked like this: 15/25 exact questions and answers he gives you the day before, 10/25 guessing on the multiple choice. There are so many free points in the class you would almost have to try to get an F to get anything besides an A or B.

He is an excellent. He gives contingency points which basically account for failing one quiz. I got an A in every class, and never got above a 70 on the tests. Smart smart guy, very homeowrk oriented, not in quantity but in quality.
