Prof. Osborne is a really nice guy and does know his stuff even though he seems to be half-brained at times. Class is very unstructured so prepare to be self-reliant. Do practice problems and you should do ok. He was better in the labs than in lecture. He is a fair instructor, but strangly odd at the same time.

I had him for lab and it was a joke. All I did was just show up and take all the equipment out and sat there for 2 hours and I got full credit for the lab. I hear he's teaching the lecture next semester. Good luck.

Very boring and whenever a question is asked, it's better to go to a classmate b/c he never knows. Tests are easy b/c they're open book but he'll take out points for minor things like not making your pictures big enough for him to read every single detail

had him for a couple classes.Knows his material pretty well. However, things are made difficult at times. Classes are very long but he gives extra credit for attending most classes. Labs are un-organized. Pay some attention in class & read do the 'high risk problems', and you shall get a good grade.
