Comment:

Hardest accounting teacher I've ever had. Gotten A's in all my accounting classes until this one. 30 out of 36 people failed the midterm. Only good thing is that homework counts for half of your grade. It's a 4 hour class and she comes 15 mins late every week and makes up stay past 9:40. Had to teach myself the material.

Prof Decker is great. She is by far the best Accounting teacher I have had at SSU. In all of my advanced classes I have gone back to her class notes and used them. She teaches in a blended style: Auditory and Visual (using the Accounting Equyation to show relationships). Seriously sign up for her class she is worth it.

Decker is a very nice lady, but her tests are extremely hard. 20 out of 30 people got a C- or worse on most exams. HW is easy, you can get 100% on it each week. I did well on the homework and bombed the 3 tests, but still got a C in the class. If you take her for 4 hours, she usually lets you out an hour early or so.

subject is hard but the lady knows her stuff and is willing to help. test are hard but as long as you do all the homework you can still get a good grade. she will show up late to class every time but also lets you out early

Accounting is a very tough subject, but Decker makes it understandable. The tests are definitely hard and at times unpredictable but by doing assignments and other stuff you can pass easily.
