He's a really cool guy. Lot's of good stories, and generally late or absent from class. If you are really interested in the subject you might not find what you're looking for. I would take his class again.

Haener never shows up for class. He gives you exactly what he's looking for on his exams the week before in a little review sheet, and then defines every single one of the terms for you. Does NOT grade on attendance, although he makes you "sign in". So just show up for the review (literally two classes), crack open the book, and you'll get an A.

Nice guy - terrible professor. Cancelled class at least 7 times, late to 90% of classes. 30 mins late to an hour class and reviewed for exam even though majority had left according to school policy. Weeks since the semester ended and he still hasn't posted grades. Avoid taking if possible - the class is a waste because you can learn more by yoursel

He barely taught. He is anti- semetic. He does not know much about Judaism. In fact, he did not even talk about Judaism. He spent a lot of the time mumbling to himself. He came into class with his face all red looking like he just got ****. He was late, unprepared. I learned nothing from him. He taught by showing movies. Thats it.

Hate is a strong word. If you hate somebody, then either don't write anything about this person or explain why you hate him. I personally found Haener to be very helpful and interesting. True, he doesn't teach much, but what he does teach is definately the most important part of the subject. He skips all the superfluous junk and gets to the point.

i am learning nothing in this class, its impossible to take notes that make sense or to pay attention, he mumbles when he talks and its just impossible to stay awake, my only motivation for going to this class is to stare at certain guys :)
