Ok... she knows her stuff. She clearly loves what she studies...however she needs to work on her teaching skills. Just because I didn't agree with what her Ph.D thesis stated, and said so on an exam question (maybe a bad idea....) does not mean that I should have been begrudged the A that I had all semester and had to take a 79 instead?

I thought she was great! She gave a clear outline of the course, good notes, and interesting assignments. She was really nice and helpful, but I'll agree that she was a little picky with grammar. Definitely recommened!

i didn't enjoy her at all. her definiion of teaching is to stand up in front of the class and babble on and on and use over heads... she made what COULD have been an interesting subject, dull and lifeless. Turned me away from folklore

Kristin is great. She knows her material she makes class interesting. She recently gave a guest lecture in my folklore class and really grabbed the classes’ attention. She defines the benchmark for lecturing and Kristin is extremely hot.

Excellent prof overall. She's very clear about her expectations to students, and expects them to work hard (as they should). She didn't lecture much for this class, mainly guest lectuers, but that's fine for a practical class such as FOLK2100.
