She is definitely helpful and willing to listen to her students which is a big deal for me. She does get frustrated when people goof off or make it clear that they don't care about being there but she's never been disrespectful or condescending about it at all. She responds more in a "I have faith in you guys" type of way.

Her teaching methods weren't very clear. I felt as is she was moving too fast. Also, the homework was nothing like what we did in class. She didn't go through a lot of problems & made us do most of the problems on our own. I would've rather had her spend the entire period going through every type of problem than leaving some for us to do on our own

Show up to class everyday, do the homework & pass the tests. She's really helpful and really to understand all the concepts she teaches. All the homework is on Math XL and so are the concepts. Buying the textbook would be a waste of your money. Even if you slack off on homework, an entire chapter of homework isn't due until the day of the test.

Such a great math teacher! Makes everything super clear and easy to follow. Very easygoing, just be prepared for loads of homework, but otherwise how else would you learn/practice? Definitely recommend!

I took math 35 twice with two different teachers who used math XL and failed. This .semester she used the book. She gives in class group projects but at first it was a solo thing. She helps when you ask to clear anything I would recommend her. just get ready for tons of hw (if she use the book)

She is a great teacher. I took her last semester for math 45 and took her this semester for math 60. The only reason I got a C is because I lagged it this semester. An A is totally possible in any of her classes. She's so helpful. Not too much homework. The book isn't necessary, just buy MathXL and you'll do fine, TAKE HER CLASS!

Just finished my first day in her class... wow. She is both a clear speaker and explains concepts and has a lovely personality. To top it off, she is smart and gorgeous. Dynamite combination. She is worth taking.

Students who say she's a bad teacher are probably bad students who don't like math or study. SHE IS AMAZING!! She's great a dumbing things down for students to understand, and for us to really grasp the concepts.

I was doing well and thought I had a B and since some things happened to me at the end of the semester I ended up with a D but she led me to believe that I was doing okay, I was really upset when I thought I was fine all along. She doesnt care, you have to care! Homework isnt too bad just do it!

BEST MATH PROFESSOR EVER!!! I absolutely hate math. I never could understand it. But after I took her class, I actually started to like math. She teaches extremely well and explains math procedures crystal clear. You'd have to be a complete idiot not to pass her class. TAKE HER IF U WANNA ACTUALLY UNDERSTAND MATH!!! You won't have a better College Algebra teacher than Ms. Sunblad. She is 100% clear in what she teaches, and will always explain into more detail when needed. She will have you preparedfor Pre-Calc, even Calculus I at the university when you're done with her class.
