Kristine is the best English teacher I've ever had. She's so knowledgeable, which makes her lectures interesting. She's fair with assignments and is flexible with due dates if you need it as long as you give her notice. I've taken Kristine in the past and I'd take her again any day.

Kristine has AMAZING lectures and she really dissects how to write essays and lays it out for you to easily understand. She makes you want to be a better writer. She's fair in her marking and will always help you if you need it. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed an English class this much.

Kristine will undoubtedly make you a better writer. She has great lectures that really help you understand the concepts of essay writing and the English language. She has clear expectations for every assignment, and gives marks accordingly. I would strongly recommend her to anyone who has been away from grade 12 English for more than 2 years.

Hard Grader, but great feedback. Almost every class has a small reading quiz worth marks. READ THE READINGS. DO IT. The textbook is actually gold and the teacher wrote it. It is like a little handbook to writing a good essay and proper format for citations. She gives really helpful feedback and will offer extensions if you give her enough notice.

Kristine gives AMAZING lectures, great for those logical types who need a right/wrong formula approach to English. Like others have said, she is a brutal marker, but her input is useful and you can tell she genuinely puts the time and effort into giving feedback. Be prepared for lots of group work - if you have social anxiety give her a miss.

Kristine is a great teacher! She marks things in a way that shows you how/where to improve, but she doesn't begrudge you an A. She's very kind and understanding if you need help or clarification. Kristine is a serious marker. She expects you to learn from your mistakes, will happily point them out, and tell you how to improve. She is always supportive, helpful, and understanding. She respects everyone's opinion, and gives AMAZING lectures. Well organized, tells you exactly what you need to know. She's lenient about extensions, too! Awesome.

I'm taking her class right now. Big mistake. I should have checked this site out before spending money on this class. I understand that she is good at prepping people for university, but honestly..I'm going to have to take this class again. Papers that I thought I did well in, I got a C. Kristine was great. Very passionate and intelligent in reference to the subject. I enjoyed class and felt she was fair with her work loads and fair-hard with her markings. Most assignments were enjoyable and doable, and she is very understanding of unexpected life events and giving extensions.

Yes, Kristine is a tough marker. But she is a passionate and makes the material interesting! You have to try hard! You'll improve your skills in her class. I love english, but this teacher has taken away any enjoyment I had for it. I worked my butt off in her class and produced quality essays, which she just ripped apart. Harshest marker you will come across. Expectations of students are far too high for a first year english course.

Kristine is so passionate about what she does, it shows. She's a tough essay marker and expects a lot from her students - that's a GOOD thing. You have to do the reading, she gives daily quizzes. Don't take her class if you want to coast and do nothing. Take her class if you want to learn and walk out with advanced writing skills under your belt.

She is a really hard marker, but just like most people say, she is a really intelligent professor. If you attend her very structured classes you are likely to learn quite a lot. However, her marking style is really brutal.
