Just wanna comment that he doesn't deserve to teach this course. He goes offtrack from the course material, always states his experiences at rutger's which have nothing to do with the course. I disagree with some of the comments, on the opposite side I am having a good time. I think he is pleasant. I have not issues with his homework; every time I approach him with questions he’s got an answer. The only thing is you have to do the homework and projects and hand them in on time.

This man is crazy. He took a class with no Unix knowledge and made us program Solaris Unix system calls in pre-ANSI C. I spent more time debugging HIS example programs than my own project! He does not care about the class and does as little as possible to get through it. Dont take him if you want to learn or pass for that matter!

He claims to care, and tries to show hoping to get a good evaluation... but then when grades roll around he sticks it where it hurts. What a waste of 3 credits, never again

worst teacher ever. He will stop MID SENTENCE and go onto another idea. I once counted 7 aborted sentences in a row, on one of those rare occasions that I was able to stay awake and paying attention in class. I retook CIS 114 with Prof Ryon, who was able to CLEARLY EXPLAIN the concepts, unlike Niroomand.

This guy dosen't know how to teach. If you want a place to sleep in, take his class. He will wake you up by the way. However, he is generous grader. this professor is extremely bad! if you dont have to, dont take him. I had too... what a waste of time and money. he does not teach anything, does not grade on time, so you have no clue on your progress; last semester i did all projects and got the same grade as people that did not do anything at all.
