Loescher is a great prof and really knows his stuff. I wish I could get my head around finance and I'd be ok...His final was tough...but fair if you had been following along. Unfortunately for me, my mark dropped substantially after his final. My own fault though, because he teaches you enough that you should be ready for the big test at the end

One of the best profs I have ever had...Teaches finance so that students will understand it and make use of it in the future. Taking 363 from kurt is mandatory for any future finance majors

He is defintely the best prof. that I have had at the Univ. so far. If you are a Finance Major, I would definitely advise to take his class instead of any other. The work is a bit harder but nothing that can't be done. As long as you practice the examples, you will be good to go.

Ok, Let me put this clearly. If your going to do a finance major your gonna want to take 203 and 363 from loescher. My girlfriend took these from Miller and learned it but she doesnt have the full knowledge that she could have learned in Loeshers class. His class isnt for slackers if you want to learn it apply it Kurt's you man.Slacker's see Miller

He is an awesome prof. Take any of his finance classes if you want to learn things which are useful outside of a classroom. He expects a lot from his students but if you put in an effort you will be rewarded with not only a good mark but valuable real life skills. He is also very good with dealing with student problems regardless of the difficulty

Easy class, assigments take long to do but are easy, best instructor at the U of S i've ever had, he was easy to approach and always willing to help me with assignments. By far the best class at university that everyone could use in their everyday life...higly recommened and take it from kurt loescher.

best prof ever. he makes you learn, which is what you are paying for. Was supposed to teach 363 for term 1 2004. Instead we got Tracey Miller. Kurt could have taught our class more in one week, then Miller taught us the entire year. Take his class if you want to actually learn about finance.

One of the toughest profs I've ever had but also, one of the very best too. Very willing to help you though. Beware: he'll do whatever it takes to get the class avg down if he needs to--I saw my mark drop 15% after the final. Be prepared to do a lot of work in his class!
