Prof Selcer was awful. As it is i hate biology but he did not give me any reason to like it. You dont even have to go to class because he puts the lecture notes online and alls he does is read off them. Im happy to of even passed the class!

I hate bio and his lectures did not help, they are very boring, and his jokes are not funny. He reads straight off his notes. you can skip class and just read the notes he puts online and read the book and get a B with little effort. Most of his test questions come straight from the notes.

biology is my passion. this guy crushed my dream. he says we don't need to know certain things, then puts it on exams. he also was useless in trying to get help from. disrespectful.. I talked to him and he was powerwalking down the hall during conversation. Do not take sciences at Duquesne!

Hes a nice guy. Dont mind his stories hes atleast trying to entertain. His tests are alot of memorization so you will actually use your book. Assignments were free points pretty much. His lectures follow the chapters so its easy to look back. Doesnt make you learn every fact. Just the general concept and a couple details.

Dr. Selcer's class was pretty cool.His notes are really boring and very repetitive, though.There is a LOT of memorization for the class, but if you truly study hard you can make an A. I got lazy and made a B, but an A is definitely do-able.

Dr. Selcer has a wierd sense of humor, but he tried to make the class as interesting as possible (I mean afterall, how interesting can you really make endocrinology?) He is a VERY fair grader

I loved Dr. Selcer~ he was funny! and will keep you very interested! Of all of my science teachers, I did the best for him! :)
