One of the best professors at Reedley College, she really cares about her students and she knows how to make the class interesting, regardless of whether you're a Psych major or not. She's a great teacher, but she isn't easy either. Study hard and you'll pass.

I was retaking this class after getting my first D EVER! with a previous teacher who was veryyyyy HORRIBLE!! She was awesome!!! music at the beginning of each class, her teaching was very clear and always wanted to find new ways to help students understand her teaching! She even would have study sessions prior to exams, and those are SOO HELPFUL!

I took her class 12 years ago and she was the only teacher that piqued my interest. Even though I slacked off in all my classes and eventually dropped out, I excelled in her class and learned quite a lot. 12 years later and I'm back in school, getting my degree in Psychology. Amazing teacher. The class is based on both lecture and material from the book, so be ready to read in order to get some answers correct on the test. part multiple choice/part written tests, but generally not too hard if you study. Extra credit given, but not liberally, so do it when offered! No homework for the most part. Great teacher!

LACY IS AWESOME!! SHE PERSUADED ME TO CHANGE MY MAJOR FROM MEDICINE TO PSYCHOLOGY. SHE DEFINETLY HAS A GREAT SENSE OF HUMOR...DOUBT YOU'LL EVER FALL ASLEEP IN HER CLASS. She substituted for the regular instructor and got our attention right away with her entertaining method of teaching. She interacts with the students, rather than just lecturing. She really made the subject "come alive."
