I had Larry Butcher for Drawing I, Drawing II, Painting I, and Painting II. I loved every minute of his classes and would gladly take them again! I actually really miss his classes. His is by far the best art professor Delta has and I would strongly recommend his classes to anyone. While he is a very hard grader he is also an excellent teacher.

If you're going into art then you must do anything in your power to take his classes! He'll help you understand things about yourself and your art that most teachers won't even care about. He'll teach the technical and inspire the emotional. Your work will be better because of him. Seriously, take his class while he's still teaching!

Best art teacher Delta has!!! He explains everything in great detail.. and knows what he's talking about! His class taught me to be a better drawer. I recommend him to anyone interested in art. He is excellent!!! If you have a choice between larry and Gina Dominique...Take Larry! You will not learn anything with Gina.

The best professor of art here in Delta. Excellent character, wise, and inspiring. I was intimidated at first. He appears a quiet and reserved guy, but he's a beam of light. Made painting a challenging and amusing class. Fun and educational. Best class I've taken in my school career. Can't wait to take more of his!!!!!!!!!!!!

One of the most spiritually influencing person I have ever met. He was very helpful and assisted you with any questions you had. He let everyone grow in their individual styles and pushed to grow more and see things outside of the box. I highly reccommend him to any art student.
