Carpman is a really sweet guy. Lots of discussion of news, guest speakers who talk about their experience and a little bit of lecturing. If you want life-changing this isn't really the class for you. Don't bother with the books honestly. The group project is super vague, but pretty easy. Only grades are midterm, group project and the final.

Larry's a nice guy. Couldn't be nicer. Unfortunately, for a 400 level course taught by someone with his credentials at a university which costs upwards of 50k, I expect far more. This course requires zero writing and is comprised of mundane and overly simple lectures, two exams and a vague project of some sort. If you're looking to learn, try again

Professor Carpman is very nice and is really interested in his class. his tests are no that bad, but the multiple choice (which are worth 5 points each) are kind of tricky/wierd. workwise all you have to do is attend class and dont read the textbook excpet the pages he's mentioned in lecture right before the test

Prof. Carpman brings his work experience into the classroom. It was very excititing to be in his class when he helped do the PR campaigns for future governor Deval Patrick. I would highly recommend this class to you because he is highly-qualified to teach about this subject. He used to work for John Kerry (:

Class is sometimes boring, but his enthusiasm makes it bearable. It doesn't help that the class is held from 6-9. Tests are very fair and not too difficult. He's adjunct so he brings a lot of real world examples and experience to the class. Great professor!
