I took his class last semester and made it out with a B. I only did that because I had prior knowledge of the subjects. I am assuming our book had changed that semester, and instead of making new study sheets or even acknowledging the changes, he kept with the old book. This left the class with wrong chapters, pages, and key words.

I was very excited to take this course at first. Then we started having tests that covered 3-4 chapters at a time. We had to remember (120-180) pages. Our quizes were from readings about 50 pages. Interesting subject, too much work for one class. U will pull your hair out!

This class is really interesting at first, but after a couple weeks you will be pulling your hair out. Frye knows his stuff, for sure, but makes the subject no fun at all. His notes are confusing and a lot of the time nothing discussed in class is actually on the tess. If you try realllly hard you could learn a lot.

Interesting class!! Not a lot of reading, about a chapter each week. The textbook is interesting. Not too hard if you do the reading.

Mr. Frye is a very intelligent and knowledgeable teacher, and is truly an expert in his field. If you aren't doing well in his class then you aren't being responsible for your own education, he gives you all the tools you need to succeed in his class.

The "problem" is you actually have to read the text! Can you believe it? It's college and you have to read???? I liked Mr. Frye. He loves what he's teaching and he's good at it. If you read the chapters...and actually study, you'll do fine in his class.

His notes make no sense what so ever! He is not a teacher you can feel comfortable with to talk to if you are having a problem. The only good thing was there was hardly any homework...except reading! His tests are very difficult. He picks out the smallest thing in the chapter and expects you to know it! Don't take him.

He seems like a very nice man..but his notes are ALL OVER the place - no organization at all.. LOTS of reading to do in his class. The tests are kind of confusing and hard to understand what answer he is really asking for. He seems to like the students that come and talk to him out of class. overall- not too bad..

Not my favorite professor but he does offer extra credit. Exams are written poorly, hard to understand what he wants. He expects a HUGE research paper (10 or more pages for an "A"). Lectures are OK but notes don't make sense. READ chapters and you'll be fine!

i started off interested but unforunatly the interest is gone! he is unorganized, unclear, unconcerned, and unhelpful. he actually told me to "be quiet" during a conversation between just him and I! RUDE!! i'm very disappointed that SPC would have a tenure professor like Frye.

Material is not hard to grasp and topics are interesting. His notes could use some improvment. Still not sure where some of the exam material comes from...some things on the exam are not quite clear.? Overall, I give the class a 6.5 out of 10

His notes are horrible. He talks down to students. If you're going to take the class use his notes for the quiz review on what to look up. For his tests look to the back of the book where you can find sample tests a lot of his questions come from there and also the quizzes througout the book.

Mr. Frye is a nice teacher, very helpful and sweet. however you need to do some real reading to get an A. Wish he would use other means of illustrations, he uses videos excessively. Some power point presentations would grately enhance his classes.
