Comment:

He is a good teacher overall and makes things interesting, but his tests are ridiculous. Although they are multiple choice tests he words them weird and the answers are similar. It is an Intro class and I was expecting it to be somewhat easy, but ended up with a B in the class. Does give extra credit and daily quizzes.

He is a very intelligent person; great guy; not the most coherent teacher, but as a student you must take responsibility for yourself to critically read the essays; he even admits to his lack of artful sentence structure, so go ahead and challenge his evaluations intelligently- not a course for the apathetic C student

This was the most bored I have ever been in my life. He just drones on and on in class. He seems nice, but I sort of felt an undercurrent of sadism. He acted serious about moving a test to monday, but left it at friday. Not the easiest class because he expects you to read 40+pages per night and know it by heart for the tests. Not recommended.

Very nice guy, he is funny which makes the class semi-fun. This class is fairly boring, but its not his fault, its the material. Does not give many points (other than midterm and final and a couple of very small quizzes)

This was by far the easiest class I have ever taken at Auburn. For those of you who can't pass his class, mabe college is not for you. You may want to look into getting a job at Mcdonalds or something.

BORING! He was unorganized, but overall the class was easy. I took him during the summer. All of the quizzes were in WEBCT with the answers and most of the mid-term and final were old quizzes. He makes you do a movie review, which isn't hard at all, just look at the examples on-line. He's not too bad, just boring.

This class was the most unorganized class I have EVER taken. He randomly gives assignments and papers that take you forever to do, and you never know when he will actually take them up. Scatterbrained and crazy liberal. It's hell, and I'd advise against it.

Ethics should be an "ethical" course-not an opportunity for a super-liberal professor to attempt to push his political agenda on his students. White's class was painful-difficult, boring, and very uneducational, as he taught more of his own opinions rather than "ethics". I advise against him!!

there are plenty of true ratings on here for White, but I had to add another for YOUR safety: steer clear of this guy! most of the previous ratings are dead-on:mumbler,hard tests,not helpful,must attend class or you lose points. you can't take these ratings lightly, drop him and dont ever look back!

Get out! Get out! Get out! His exams are absolutely impossible, he rambles on in lecture without a direction. When he is lecturing about something important, he starts chasing rabbits and then you never know where he's going with it and by the time you do, you've missed half the lesson. He's awful

This was a difficult class. But if you attend class and talk to him and let him know that you are trying then he will help you. He passed me b/c I went and talked to him about my grade. He was very helpful. He mummbles alot during leactures. Tests are very difficult.
