Larry is a very interesting guy. Don't let his laidback attitude fool you as this is not an easy class. As long as you do all the readings and come to class easy to get at least a B. He is ready to give help to those who talk and ask questions.

I was excited 2 take this class; 2 bad it sucked. We just read books by friends of the professors & rather than discuss the book, he'd talk 4ever about the authors (a.k.a. his friends). Didn't learn much, and i didn't understand how bruce springsteen fit in2 the class. prof. talks 2 much, kept us after the 2h40m class was over. BORING CLASS!!

Be warned that he grades a lot harder on the tests than he seems he would judging by the way he conducts class. Don't really feel I learned much and only read a bunch of his favorite stuff. Comes off slightly crazy and the hot pepper must be a joke.

He is ok, the lectures are kinda boring, but the books are interesting. Make sure to read before the deadline if you do good on the quizes you will do in class. There was also a group presentation and he gives a lot of ooportunity for extra credit. Class could be easy if you figure out what he expects... and yes he is obsessed w/Bruce Springsteen
