Comment:

Stubborn old Dr who is very opinionated and conservative but has a sarcastic side. Lots of book work, notes, current events, and an 8 page term paper. Sometime I get bored but overall I enjoyed his class. He really knows his stuff and has great stories about his time as an officer. Helps with any CJ related questions.

Very good teacher, he know the material VERY well. He is a stubborn old man who seems grumpy all the time. His class feels stuffy and no one looks like they want to be there. Makes you do a 12 page paper and is not easy to get an A. You gotta do ALL the homework, classwork, term paper and extra credit to get an A. But I DID LEARN A LOT!!!!!!!

Dr Roberts is one of the most ETHICAL professor who uses a Systematical time managed course. His syllabus Clearly indicates, how he wants it when is it due and Staple it at home. I was honored to be able to learn a higher level of learning that I would utilize in my academics, future. Any negative comments are understandable if you like easygrades

he failed me on one of my test because i didn't get the study guide because i was in the hospital. he said he doesnt take doctors notes. if y dot getthe study guide then you dont pass the tests. also if you dont do the 10 research paper you fail as well. no matter if you do all the homework. Dont take this class. judges people and is pompus

Pretty easy class, just a lot of labs and chapter work. You end up learning a lot in this class. Interesting teacher, very sarcastic and knows his stuff. Gives you study guides for the test which are EXTEREMELY helpful!

I most likely got an A in the class. Easy if you study and do HW. Not worth it to have to put up with him. Picks favorites and ignores the rest. Extremely Conservative, extremely opinionated and tries to force his beliefs on students. If you're willing to keep your mouth shut and pretend to agree with him on EVERYTHING, this is your class.

He makes inappropriate comments, cuts you off and can be obnoxious but when it comes down to it, his passion for teaching is quite evident. The class is structured so that if you do the work you can't fail and if you don't you will. Take him at his word because he sticks to the rules, do the work and you can't go wrong. He is a good professor but he is tough. I'm an AJ major and will be taking all of his classes. You must attend class and study. Do the study guides when you get them. The book is a must, but so far I have slid by, by just googling the answers for the weekly chapter homework. EXPECT to work.

he definitely is rough around the edges and can be hard to approach but is very helpful. the tests are fair and he gives you everything you need to study for the tests on a platter. of course theyre not word for word but they do help a lot. definitely need to give this class your all though and dont slack cuz he has no problem letting you know.

Dr. Roberts class was very tough and worth every minute of every class. He gets straight to the point and lets you know that if your not giving your all you'll probably fail his class. Show up, take good notes and do the extra credit and you should get at least a B at worst. In the academy not all the instructors are going to be nice, deal with it

Go to class, takes notes, ask questions, be prepared, do good on quizzes and do not be rude. This class is very thorough and very interesting. You will learn a lot if you are mature and study. Roberts is not easy on slackers-and is understanding should sometime legitimately happen. Definitely enjoyed this class. A+

PROFESSOR ROBERTS IS A PREETY COOL PROFESSOR IF YOU TAKE NOTES AND SHOW UP TO CLASS. IF YOU MISS 1 DAY YOUR IN TROUBLE BECAUSE WE GET ON AVERAGE 8-10 PAGES OF NOTES EVERY CLASS FOR THE NEXT TEST. I LIKE THE CLASS AND HAN'NT MISSED A CLASS YET. IF YOUR LOOKING INTO LAW ENFORCEMENT TAKE THIS CLASS

The material was interesting and Roberts didn't do too bad at teaching, he was quite entertaining. Chptr test every week, & book assignment in mornings during class so attendance is pretty much mandatory. Not a bad class considering.
