he's a nice guy and really tries to get the point across. he's a good teacher just make sure u know the material from french 1 first cause there's no review. 20 hours in the language lab required. he asks if you have questions but definitley won't wait around if you don't understand. if you don't understand passe compose, dont take this class

very entertaining and informative. patient almost to a fault sometimes, and lets you make up missed tests. gives out extra credit once in a while and as long as you keep up with the homework (there isn't much) and review a bit you'll do quite fine. get 96% and skip both the oral and written finals, a 94 skips only the oral final. gives 1 free skip.

great guy. so enjoyable to talk with about anything, and a good teacher. very funny too. french is sort of hard, but he makes it fun and doesn't expect you to be an expert in 2 semesters. definitely recommended.

The class sucked. Very demanding.. acted like you were stupid if you missed something. Very rigid kind of teaching.. almost a rude type.. expects a lot of out of his students. Nice guy outside the classroom.. lots of take-home/emailing hw.. which was nice. Helpful outside of class. Overall.. half/half with this class. Be prepared.

Overall great teacher. Takes a while to get used to a lot of french coming at you at once, but he's patient (almost to a fault) when people ask questions. repeatedly. Lots of good anecdotes on French language and culture.

I dont understand what every one is talking about. He is a nice guy and all and does know his stuff. But on the third day of class he showed a video in french with french subscripts and then stopped it and asked oral quiz questions about the movie. gives alot of pop quizes Dont take if you wantEasy.

I think that he's an amazing teacher, even if he is hard to keep up with at times. I learned more in this class than any french class prior.
