He was invited to my high school World Issues class to lecture us on new methods of terrorism, and his presentation engaged even the most braindead of my peers. He seemed like a great prof and genuinely nice person.

Great prof. Very funny, knowledgable and puts whinny students back in their place. Only complaint is his test. I think he types them up 10 minutes before he gives them because questions appear on them that really have nothing to do with what you're learning.

He's unique. Very Russian, spent one class about how a decision to eat a sandwich caused WW1, and how ICBMs could be filled with potatoes. I think he's a disillusioned communist. Expect to be entertained, not enlightened.

He asserts that third-worlders gain nothing from globalization, but avoids "details" like why they line up in droves for (higher paying) Western factory jobs. Bison's hockey games have more academic merit than his class.
